Thura Tech (Pty) Ltd ("Thura Tech", "we", "us", or "our") operates the My Rain Lofi mobile application ("the App").

This Privacy Policy explains how My Rain Lofi accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

My Rain Lofi does not require users to create an account, log in, or provide personal information directly to Thura Tech.

The App does not operate a developer-owned server or database for storing user accounts or personal information.

However, the App uses third-party services, including Google AdMob and Google Play services, which may collect or process information from your device as described below.

2. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may automatically collect or process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction information, diagnostics, and other information necessary for advertising, fraud prevention, analytics, and service operation.

The information collected and processed by Google may be used to provide, personalize, measure, and improve advertising and to maintain the security and operation of Google's advertising services.

Thura Tech does not directly receive or store users' advertising profiles or advertising identifiers on its own servers.

Google Play Billing

The App offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing.

Purchases are processed by Google Play. Thura Tech does not receive or store users' full payment card or other payment instrument details.

Google may process information necessary to process purchases, provide purchase history, prevent fraud, and operate Google Play services.

3. Images and Audio Files Selected by the User

My Rain Lofi allows users to select images and audio files from their device for use within the App.

When a user selects an image or audio file, the App may use a local reference to that file or store a copy within the App's own local storage, depending on the feature being used. These files remain on the user's device and are not uploaded to Thura Tech's servers.

Thura Tech does not receive, collect, or store these user-selected images or audio files on its own servers.

The App does not transmit these user-selected files to Thura Tech or use them for advertising, analytics, or other external purposes.

Uninstalling My Rain Lofi may remove copies of files and other data that the App has stored within its own local application storage. Uninstalling the App does not delete the user's original images or audio files from their device's native storage.

4. Locally Stored App Data

My Rain Lofi may store certain information locally on the user's device to provide its functionality, such as:

This information is stored locally on the user's device and is not stored on Thura Tech's servers.

When My Rain Lofi is uninstalled, Android may remove the App's locally stored application data. This does not mean that the App removes the user's original files, such as images or audio files, from the device's native storage.

5. Device Permissions and Access

My Rain Lofi does not require or request broad device storage, photo, or audio permissions to allow users to select files. Where applicable, the App uses Android's system-provided file or media selection mechanisms, which allow the user to choose the specific file they want to use.

The App requests notification permission where required to provide features such as foreground media playback and related notifications.

My Rain Lofi uses foreground media playback so that rain and lofi audio can continue playing when the App is in the background or when the device screen is turned off.

The App only uses device capabilities for its intended functionality.

6. Data Sharing

Thura Tech does not sell users' personal information.

The App may transmit information to third-party service providers when required for their services to operate. In particular, Google services used by the App, including Google AdMob and Google Play services, may collect and process information according to Google's own privacy policies and terms.

User-selected images and audio files are not uploaded to or shared with Thura Tech's servers.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Thura Tech does not maintain user accounts or a developer-owned server containing users' personal information for My Rain Lofi.

Information stored locally by the App remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, removed through the App's available functionality, cleared through Android device settings, or removed when the App is uninstalled, subject to Android's handling of application data.

Information processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob and Google Play is subject to the respective third party's retention and deletion policies.

8. Security

Thura Tech takes reasonable measures to protect information under its control.

Because My Rain Lofi does not maintain a developer-owned server containing users' personal information, the App does not provide a developer-managed online account or database.

Third-party services used by the App are responsible for the security of information they process according to their own policies and security practices.

9. Children's Privacy

My Rain Lofi is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.

Thura Tech does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the App.

Because third-party services such as advertising services may process information from users, their own policies and age-related controls may also apply.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or applicable requirements.
